Artist Statement

Tony Knox has initiated several curatorial and collaborative programmers throughout the Northwest of England and internationally.

He has founded the precepts of Podgy on his continued practice, both as an artist and curator, conceiving projects to touch on a wide range of concepts and enabling research and development in the contemporary arts.

He was curator of the Egg Space 2000-2005 as a permanent gallery space, formerly the Acorn Gallery, based in Liverpool, England.

As an artist, Knox has been involved in new line of collaborations and worked on Museum Man and Eight Days a Week on the websites.
